WARDROBE / WIGS
McCarter Theatre seeks dedicated individual with both wardrobe and wig/hair experience to run shows for our six-play season. Primary responsibilities include care and maintenance of each production’s costumes and wigs, applying wigs prior to performances, and providing dressing, hair, and make-up assistance to performers as needed. When schedule allows, additional duties will include running wardrobe for presented shows and assisting in the costume shop. The successful candidate will have relevant professional experience at comparable regional theaters, excellent interpersonal skills, and will work well independently. This position reports to the Costume Shop Manager. Full-time, seasonal position regularly runs September to May. Competitive salary with overtime compensation and benefits. ASSISTANT HOUSE MANAGER
The McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ is seeking Assistant House Managers who are available to work evening and weekend shifts for performances and special events. This part-time position will be a key member of our Front of House staff who will represent McCarter Theatre and its vision to patrons, artists and guests. Under the supervision of the House Manager, the AHM will assist with the running of shows, which includes the following responsibilities:
- Orientation and training of volunteer ushers
- Interacting with patrons to ensure great guest service while upholding seating policies
- Maintaining a clean and secure theatre
- Coordination with concessions, security and ticket office
- Performing other duties as assigned by the house manager
Qualifications:
- Passion for the performing arts
- 2-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a managerial position
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Cash handling experience
- Great communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a time sensitive environment

THEATRE CONCESSIONS POSITION

OUTBOUND SUBSCRIPTION SALES AND FUNDRAISING
McCarter Theatre has a Part Time position available in the Outbound Audience Services Department. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, verbal/phone skills & clear speaking voice; be computer literate and function well under pressure. Experience in Subscription Sales &/or Fundraising and knowledge of Tessitura ticketing software a plus. Candidates should be available to work Monday through Thursday from 6pm to 9pm.
