We hope you joined us for an engaging, moderated conversation with Bedlam co-founders Eric Tucker and Andrus Nichols, following a performance of Hamlet.
Tucker and Nichols talked about how they came to found Bedlam, the type of projects and dramatic works the company is drawn to, and the particularities of their production and performance style and aesthetic. They also discussed the joys and challenges of mounting classical plays in rotating repertory and playing the celebrated stage roles of Hamlet and Saint Joan for contemporary audiences. Tucker also talked about his approach to and process for directing productions in which he is also acting.
This Dialogue on Drama discussion took place on the Berlind Stage immediately following the 2pm performance on Sunday, January 22. We encouraged you to attend this illuminating (and free!) special event, regardless of when you plan to see either Hamlet or Saint Joan.
Dialogue on Drama began at approximately 5:00pm.
No RSVP or ticket was required to attend the discussion; it was free and open to the public.
