Members of our production team describe how they prepare the stage for the set, lighting, sound, costumes and actors that descend upon the theatre with each new production. Donors of $250 or more receive an invitation to the first opening night reception of the theatrical season in the Matthews Theater. Donors of $750 or more are invited to all theater opening night parties. As a donor at the $250 level or higher you can purchase tickets or exchange your subscription tickets to the night of the opening you are invited to, and at the $750 level, you can exchange into or purchase tickets into all opening night performances thorough our development office. The evening begins with a panel discussion of distinguished actors, directors or playwrights associated with McCarter, followed by a Q&A.
