Concordia Chamber Players

The brightest talents of the chamber music world come together to perform as members of the Concordia Chamber Players. Individually they enjoy active careers as soloists and chamber musicians at major chamber music festivals such as Tanglewood, Marlboro, and the Lincoln Center Festival. They have also performed with orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the San Francisco Symphony.

Who hasn’t hummed The Impossible Dream or used the phrase “tilting at windmills”? This inspirational show won five Tony Awards® on Broadway and endures as one of the best-loved American musicals. Man of La Mancha is a play-within-a-play based on Cervantes’ Don Quixote, a poignant story of a dying old man whose impossible dream takes over his mind.

Piano Competition Finals

Young pianists ages 6-24 compete for prizes in four categories by age, an Open Class, and a Piano Four-Hands category. In addition, the Richard L. Tang Yuk Award will be presented to the Most Outstanding Performer in the competition.

Peter Martin Trio

The trio has been a big hit with audiences from St. Louis to Tokyo, and it’s sure to set Princeton buzzing too. Its bright, sophisticated, instantly enjoyable music will have you tapping your toes and dancing in your seats one minute, then savoring a relaxed groove the next. The individual members of Peter Martin Trio have played on a total of 14 Grammy-winning recordings in the last 20 years. As a group they play entertaining, endlessly intriguing music that you’ll remember long after the concert is over.

The beautiful acoustic and natural light of Miller Chapel at the seminary adds an extra dimension to the occasion.

In 2005, former Pennsylvania Ballet principal dancers Christine Cox and Matthew Neenan founded BalletX with a commitment to “forge new works of athleticism, emotion and grace.” Now Philadelphia’s premier contemporary ballet company, BalletX performs in prestigious festivals and venues around the country, including the Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, the Vail International Dance Festival, and at the Joyce Theater in NYC.
