And soooo it begins

Wow!
I AM HERE, W0W!!
I arrived yesterday, not knowing that the world around me was unraveling. New York was hit by a tornado, subways were flooded and people again had to adapt to Mother nature and her changes.
Princeton was HOT.
I hit the ground running / a car picked me up and we were in the flow. The driver from A-1 Limo and I had a great conversation. I learn about his three boys, ten, seven and sixteen months. His wife, the school teacher, how they met and promises made and kept. He is on his way to DisneyLand this week.
He took the back way into Princeton and we encountered no traffic (good sign) and were met at the apt. by Jeff, our company manager. Jeff, the tenor with a great sense of humor.
I have a lovely space in which to move, groove and play. My boxes were in the space, and I put my possessions throughout the apt. Burned my sage, burned my candles, listened to my NEW IPOD, ate a Caesar salad and crashed. Oh yeah, forgot… I had a brief visit with Michole (the actor playing Taylor). It was great hearing her laugh and feeling her excitement.
Today I went shopping for FOOD. While I was outside the apt. on Nassau St waiting for the “Jeff” pickup, Monette (the actor playing Kimber) came down the apt. stairs with a big grin and open arms. Again, the laughter, we hugged and she said how excited she was. I am loving the laughter and the anticipation of everyone so far.
Now, I know I was not supposed to… but I did… I went over to the theater to the rehearsal hall.
OH MY GOODNESS!! I walked into the room and saw the Le Vays house with furniture… the KITCHEN… the shop had a mock kitchen set up!… I have a sink and stove and everything… walking into that room I felt like a kid at Christmas opening a present she was not expecting!!!
Thank you everyone involved with the Stick Fly production. You guys are putting your precious time, talent, energy and creative spirit into this production. It feels soooooooo good.
Then, after Cheryl, Alison, Heather, and Kim let me play on the set, they left… to do more work… to prepare themselves for tomorrow (that’s when I was really suppose to be there). Elizabeth did an interview in which I hope I come across as a learned human being….
Will I ever / before I leave / the planet / be able to articulate like an educated being???
Oh well, I am going now to get a pedicure, must have the toes sparkling!!!
I love what I do.
ps. While I was writing this I had a speakphone conversation with my Costume Designer, Karen Perry
SHE ROCKS…
Now I am done. For now.
AND SOOOO IT BEGINS.
