Charitable Giving

This year, McCarter will be collecting donations for two charities, The Trenton Area Soup Kitchen and Allies, Inc. throughout the run of A Christmas Carol. Keep your eye out in the lobby for your opportunity to contribute to the important work of these local community organizations!

Last year, audience members for McCarter’s A Christmas Carol collectively gave over $35,000 to support our 2010 community partner, Homefront, and their work to end homelessness in Central New Jersey. In 2010, many people in need found shelter through Homefront, but had nowhere to sleep once they arrived there. The generous donations of McCarter audience members allowed us to deliver 350 mattresses to Homefront shelters.
