Betty Buckley
Ah, Men! The Boys of Broadway

Talk about Memories! The song, that is, first sung on Broadway by the inimitable Betty Buckley, who won a Tony Award as Grizabella, the Glamour Cat, in the original production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats. She went on to pick up a Tony nomination for Triumph of Love and her Broadway legacy also includes raves as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard. There’s also been TV (Oz, The Pacific, Eight is Enough); movies (The Happening, Carrie, Another Woman); and a dozen CDs, including her latest, Ghostlight, to be released this year. Betty returns to McCarter which first welcomed her to its stage back in 1993 in Joyce Carol Oates’ play The Perfectionist.
