The Virtual Voices Project 2021
Calling all seasoned or newbie writers, poets, actors, singers, songwriters, virtual tech wizards, and artistic hyphenates of all stripes! We are forming a virtual summer artist ensemble to generate creative prose, poetry, songs, and theatrical pieces that speak to the current moment and the topics, themes, and experiences we find most pressing and in need of expressing. Student collaborators will be guided in generating pieces to be collected, curated, and woven together into an entertaining and thought-provoking virtual sharing for family and friends.

Character, Scenes, Monologues
Do you have a favorite contemporary monologue or classical scene you’ve always wanted to perform? Is there one character in literature you’ve dreamt continuously of playing? Through interactive discussions and readings, ensemble-building activities, and performance, participants will explore and share their most beloved theatre pieces. This class will culminate in a final virtual performance for invited guests.
