McCarter Nominated In Two People’s Choice Awards Categories

McCarter Theatre Center is proud to be nominated in two categories for the Discover Jersey Arts 2018 People’s Choice Awards. This year, McCarter is under consideration for both Best Large Performing Arts Center and Best Theater to see a Play.

McCarter has been honored to receive the Best Theater to see a Play for the past three years. Members of Discover Jersey Arts organizations nominate their peers for these annual awards in a variety of categories (i.e. Favorite Theater, Performing Arts Center, Museum, Dance Company, etc).

Groups receiving the largest number of nominations by their peers are listed in a widely distributed public voting ballot, which also includes a write-in option. The winners from each category are recognized on our website, with a custom web tile, and with a gold plaque. Winners for the awards are announced annually in March and presented at the New Jersey Tourism Conference.
