McCarter Theatre Center Names Martin Miller as Executive Director
McCarter Theatre Center announced that Martin Miller, who led the Obie Award-winning TheatreSquared in Fayetteville, Arkansas through a major transformation over more than a decade as its leader, has been named Executive Director. Miller, a Princeton resident with close ties to the community, joins McCarter from one of America’s leading organizations for debuting new theatrical work, and will draw on his impressive experience growing an organization into a major powerhouse.

McCarter has announced its 2022-23 season featuring a robust lineup of theater, music, dance, comedy, spoken word, and family programming - and a special Toni Morrison project in partnership with Princeton University. The artists and stories shared are joyous, thought-provoking, moving, invigorating, and mostly brand new to McCarter.
Paula Abreu named new Director of Special Programming
Abreu takes on role of Presented Events Curator following 60-year tenure of Bill Lockwood.
We are thrilled to welcome Paula Abreu who will begin to work with McCarter’s Artistic team this summer, joining the company full-time in September 2022.
