Find directions to McCarter and parking information most convenient for you.
We recommend utilizing the free and convenient parking at Princeton University’s West Garage. To access the garage, take Alexander Street to North Station Drive; the garage entrance will be on your right after you pass the train station. The West Garage is free and open to the public on weekends and after 5 pm on weekdays. In addition, McCarter patrons may park in the Princeton Station Commuter Lot: commuter permit spaces are free for public parking on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays and metered spaces are readily available every day.
From the West Garage or the Princeton Station, a brief 5-minute walk through the buildings and park-like atmosphere of the new Lewis Center for the Arts will bring you past the two new restaurants and right to McCarter. We’ve highlighted an easy route with no stairs.
Please note that with the opening of the pathways through the new Lewis Center for the Arts, the shuttle that ran between the train station and the theater during construction is no longer operating.
Metered street parking is available on Alexander Road, College Road, and University Place.
Parking is available in the Princeton Station lot as well as the Seminary Lot on College Road.SEE MAP
