Shakespeare Community Reading Group

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2018 at 7:00pm

Venue The Princeton Public Library Community Room (This month only!)

“When, in disgrace with fortune and men’s eyes…”

Love theater and reading plays aloud? McCarter hosts a casual monthly Shakespeare Community Reading Group for people of all ages and levels of experience. This is a free, informal, and fun way to personally experience Shakespeare’s words and characters. All are welcome and everyone will get a turn to read!

2nd Annual

The very popular “Sonnet Slam” is back—and this year plays the PPL Community Room!

Readers will be selected at random to draw sonnet numbers and then stand and deliver said sonnets at a lectern for the delight and approbation of the assembled Shakespeare-loving crowd.

A volume of the Sonnets for the lectern will be supplied, but please bring your own copy if you would like to read along. And bring a friend too!

Please join us! All are invited, but reservations are required. Click below to reserve your seat!
