Dialogue on Drama (Comedy)

Venue Matthews Stage
Admission No RSVP or ticket is required to attend the discussion; it is free and open to the public.

Join us for an engaging and hilarious moderated conversation with the Gods of Comedy themselves, actors Brad Oscar (Tony Award®-nominated for Something Rotten! and The Producers) and Jessie Cannizzaro (Puffs and Upright Citizens Brigade), and stage director and Princeton University Theater Program professor Elena Araoz, who teaches the university’s “Special Topics in Advanced Acting: Performing Comedy.” Araoz will talk about classic comedy tropes, what’s funny today, and the practical side of physical and linguistic humor, and Oscar and Cannizzaro will provide rehearsal-room details about the joys and comical challenges of bringing the world-premiere of Ken Ludwig’s The Gods of Comedy to the stage. It is certain to be an illuminating and funny (and free!) event regardless of when you experience the play in performance.

This is event is free and open to the public. No RSVP or ticket is required to attend.
