Post-show discussions at McCarter are interactive, audience-based conversation facilitated by a member of McCarter’s artistic staff, often featuring cast members. These discussions focus on a range of topics, including how artistic choices were made for the production, the actors’ process, and reflections and questions from audience members.

We encourage you to attend either post-show discussion event regardless of when you experience Gloria: A Life in performance.

Post-show discussions will begin on Wednesday, September 18 at approximately 9:15pm and on Sunday, September 22 at approximately 3:45pm.

No RSVP or ticket is required to attend these discussions; they are free and open to the public.

Gloria: A Life

By Emily Mann
Original Direction by Diane Paulus
Restaged for McCarter by Emily Mann
Featuring two-time Academy Award nominee Mary McDonnell

Gloria Steinem first raised her voice five decades ago, championing equality for all. Today, her vision is more urgent than ever. The first act is Gloria’s story; the second is our own, as the audience joins in a talking circle to share personal experiences. This inspiring, and powerful event is more than a play – it’s a celebration of human connection.
