Choir! Choir! Choir!

Equal parts singing, comedy, and community-building, Choir! Choir! Choir! is less a performance than it is a dialogue between the audience and the performers on stage. Attendees receive a lyric sheet at the door and learn the vocal arrangement, with the understanding that they, too, have become part of the show, which is recorded. Founded in 2011 by Daveed Goldman and Nobu Adilman as a weekly drop-in singing event, the show has long been a vehicle for fundraising, and has been performed in holes, on hills, and at Carnegie Hall, featuring guest singers such as David Byrne, Patti Smith, Rufus Wainwright, and many, many more. The McCarter Theater edition of Choir! Choir! Choir! is holiday themed.
