Thank you so much for celebrating with us at McCarter's 2024 Gala.

Introducing Stage Door Access

The Gala is McCarter’s most significant and highly anticipated annual fundraising event, raising crucial support for the company’s unparalleled programming, arts education initiatives, and community engagement activities. At Gala 2024, McCarter announced the launch of Stage Door Access, a new and ambitious ticket initiative providing as many as 5,000 free or discounted tickets to community members of all ages annually. Stage Door Access officially kicks off in fall 2024 and will allow individuals access to McCarter productions and performances all season long. In partnership with over a dozen community organizations, McCarter will welcome thousands of new audiences to the theater, who would otherwise be unable to attend due to socioeconomic barriers and other challenges to access. At Gala 2024, participants generously contributed over $58,000 toward this half-million dollar initiative. With this incredible support, along with leadership gifts from J.M. Huber and the Burke Foundation, Stage Door Access is well on its way to a robust and an exciting year. At the same time, fundraising for this program continues, and donations of all sizes are still more than welcome. Thank you for your support of Stage Door Access!
