Terence Blanchard is a multi-Grammy Award-winning trumpeter, bandleader, arranger, and composer, who has established himself as one of the most influential jazz musicians and film score masters of his generations. With his new quintet, the E-Collective, Blanchard powerfully and playfully journeys into another jazz realm on their new album, Breathless.



Christian Sands Quartet

Christian Sands is currently one of the most in-demand pianists working in jazz. After the one-two punch of Reach and Reach Further – EP, Sands’ dynamic 2017 Mack Avenue debut and his live/unreleased studio tracks EP follow-up released earlier this year, Facing Dragons is Sands’ return to the recording studio with an indestructible band and an unwavering allegiance to the groove.

Grammy winner Kurt Elling has been known for his singular combination of robust swing and poetic insight. As one of the world’s foremost jazz vocalists, Elling has been declared as “the standout male vocalist of our time” by The New York Times.

Panamanian jazz pianist, humanitarian, and educator Danilo Pérez is lauded as one of the most creative forces in contemporary music. With Jazz as the anchoring foundation, Pérez’s Global Jazz music is a blend of Panamanian roots, Latin American folk music, West African rhythms, European impressionism – promoting music as a borderless and multidimensional bridge between all people.



The Messenger Legacy

Featuring Ralph Peterson, Bobby Watson, Brian Lynch, Billy Pierce, Geoffrey Keezer, and Essiet Essiet

Drummer Ralph Peterson Jr. assembles an all-star group for a tribute to The Jazz Messengers, the prolific big band collective led by his mentor, the late Art Blakey. With selections from a new recording, the band will include Peterson on percussion, saxophonist Bill Pierce, bassist Essiet Essiet, trumpeter Brian Lynch, and other All-Star Messenger alumni.
