Tickets & Ticket Office

When will tickets go on sale?
Tickets will go on sale to the public on August 10 at 12:00PM EST. Want early access? Become a member! Learn more. 

 

Can I purchase my tickets directly at the theater?
Please note that in an effort to maintain safety regulations, this season our in-person box office hours will be limited to one hour prior to all performances.

We ask that you purchase your tickets online or utilize the phone line should you need to contact us regarding your tickets.

 

When are the Ticket Office phone hours? 
The Ticket Office phone line is open Tuesday–Friday, 12:00PM–6:00PM. Please call 609.258.2787.

Beginning September 21, Ticket Office hours will be Tuesday–Saturday, from 12:00PM until performance start time. (If a performance is scheduled on a Sunday, the phone lines will open at 12:00PM until performance time.)

 

Will you offer contactless payments?
Yes. When our box office is open for in-person purchases, credit cards are the preferred method of payment. In addition, plexiglass barriers have been added at our point-of-sale locations.

 

Coming To The Theater

How do I collect/show my ticket? 
We have implemented touchless ticketing and scanning procedures. Tickets are no longer being mailed.

When purchasing a ticket online, your order will automatically be delivered to you as a Mobile Ticket.

If you place your order by phone with our Patron Experience team, your ticket will be delivered to you as a Print-At-Home Ticket. 

Tickets purchased at the box office will be sent to you as a Mobile Ticket or Print-At-Home Ticket. 

Whichever way your ticket is delivered, please make sure you have it available when entering the theater.

 

What do I do if I'm not feeling well on the day of a performance?
Please stay home if you’re not feeling well. By entering the theater, you are agreeing that you are not sick and have not had direct contact with anyone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 10 days or exhibits symptoms of COVID-19. It is essential that you do not attend the show if you are unwell.  

 

What is your mask policy?
Decisions will be made on masks closer to performances based on NJ state Guidelines.

 

Will audiences be socially distanced?
Physical distancing in the theater will be adjusted in response to requirements mandated (dictated/advised) by the CDC, and as directed by our Front of House team. 

 

Can I still get a drink at the bar?
Yes. For a period of time, we will serve beverages in single-use disposal containers. We encourage electronic payment for any concession sales.

 

Will the Member Lounge be open? 
Yes! More details for this will be announced soon. If you're not a McCarter Member yet, check out those benefits here

 

Will I still be able to borrow an assisted listening device? 
Yes. Assistive listening devices will be cleaned with minimum 70% isopropyl alcohol between uses.

 

Can I still park for free in the West Garage? 
Yes! Princeton University’s West Garage is available for patrons to use after 5:00PM on weekdays and between 7:00AM and 2:00AM on weekends. Read more about how to get to McCarter here.
