If you already have an account with us, there is no need to create a new account: your username has been switched to the email address associated with your account, and all account history has been preserved.

Online orders and phone orders through Patron Services for single tickets are subject to a handling charge of $6 per ticket. A $1 facilities fee is also added to each ticket.
Tickets purchased in-person at the Ticket Office window are not subject to a handling charge.
Subscription purchases are subject to a $10 handling charge per package, plus a $1 facilities fee ($11 total per package).
Your tickets will be mailed to you if you purchased them five or more days prior to your scheduled performance. If you selected “Hold at Ticket Office” or you purchased the tickets less than five days before the performance, your tickets will be available for pick up on the day of the performance.
We will reprint any lost tickets at no charge.
Ticket Exchange Policy Subscribers have free and unlimited ticket exchanges up to 24 hours prior to any performance and can exchange to another show (subject to availability) within their series (upgrade charges may apply).
There are no refunds or exchanges on all other tickets. All sales are final.
If you are unable to use your tickets, please donate them back for tax deductible receipt.

In order to not disturb other patrons or the performers, a late seating time is set for each performance. This time will vary depending on the nature of the program and is made at the discretion of the House Services Manager. We appreciate your patience with this policy.
McCarter offers discounted tickets for most performances to eligible patrons, including students. Visit the Discounts page for more details. Please note, McCarter does not offer exclusive discounts to seniors, but all patrons are welcome to take advantage of discounted tickets via one of the options listed on our Discounts page.
Avoid purchasing tickets from unauthorized sources and ticket brokers. Buy directly from mccarter.org—you’ll get the best seats at the best prices, and the best service should there be any issues with your purchase.
An email is sent shortly after the ticket purchase that includes a PDF of the tickets.
Children are welcome to attend age-appropriate events at McCarter. Each child must have their own ticket to be admitted. For our Theater Series, children under 6 years of age will not be admitted.
Some performances are intended for young children and allow infants (under 1 year) to attend free of charge. Please inquire with Patron Services if you have young children you would like to bring to the theater.

You may call our Subscriber Hotline at 609.258.5050 to speak with a Subscription Office representative who can help you select seats and purchase tickets for any of our current series. You can also purchase subscriptions online.
Subscription tickets are mailed out at the end of the summer. You will receive them in the mail with your subscriber discount card. Young-At-Art subscription tickets or student tickets that are purchased over the phone will not be mailed to you. You must pick them up on or before your first performance date and show your valid student I.D. Student or Young-At-Art tickets purchased with regular-priced subscription tickets will be mailed together.

Theater Series subscribers can save 20% on additional Theater Series tickets for friends and family. This offer can even be used if you wish to see the show again!
McCarter Theatre is a barrier-free building. Wheelchair seating must be requested at time of ticket order. Disabled parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis to those displaying official state license plates or placards. Headphones for hearing enhancement are available free of charge in the front lobby. One audio-described and one American Sign Language interpreted performances are scheduled for each Theater Series production. Large print and Braille programs are available upon request.
