Join us for an immersive exploration of the script, production elements, acting and directing choices, artistic decisions, and thematic mysteries behind McCarter Theatre Center’s Mrs. Christie, Heidi Armbruster’s play directed by Donya K. Washington. Across five discussion-based daytime sessions, participants will read and unpack the play together, explore behind-the-scenes insights from McCarter’s production, and then experience the work live in performance. This class is open to all experience levels and is ideal for theater lovers who enjoy lively conversation, close reading, and a deeper look at how a production comes to life.
Note: All class sessions will take place at McCarter Theatre Center, 91 University Place, Princeton. Students who do not yet have tickets to Mrs. Christie may purchase them through a link that will be provided. Students will also be notified of the meeting location inside McCarter for class sessions.
