The Making of Life on Our Planet: Dinosaurs is more than a behind-the-scenes look — it’s a deep dive into how paleontology, cinematic artistry, and environmental filmmaking came together to tell Earth’s oldest story with new clarity.

From the Emmy® Award–winning team behind Netflix’s Our Planet comes The Making of Life on Our Planet: Dinosaurs — an immersive live experience that reveals how millions of years of Earth’s history were brought to life with breathtaking realism.

Created by Silverback Films in collaboration with 165 paleontologists and Earth scientists worldwide, the series grounds every dinosaur — from feather placement to movement and behavior — in the latest scientific research. Partnering with Industrial Light & Magic, the team blended cutting-edge CGI, wildlife studies, and real-world environments to create astonishingly lifelike creatures unseen for 66 million years.

Host Barny Revill will lead audiences through the screening and conversation. Barny Revill is an award-winning series director, show runner and commercials director who has made films for the likes of the BBC, Netflix, Nat Geo, ITV and Discovery. He was brought into Silverback Films to take a creative lead on one of the biggest non-fiction commissions ever made by Netflix – Life On Our Planet, helping it secure multiple awards.
